ENTRY OPTIONS

FULL WEEKEND MAIN TRACK & SKIDPAN 

For Intermediate, Experienced and Advanced drivers.

Friday: 5pm–8pm
Saturday: 9am–8pm (9am-5pm Skidpan is open as well)
Sunday: 9am–5pm (9am-5pm Skidpan is open as well)

This is a full weekend entry, with your group having rotating sessions across main track and skidpan across all three days.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY - SKIDPAN ONLY 

Saturday & Sunday: 9am–5pm. 

Beginner entry is a complete two-day skidpan option, running Saturday and Sunday with rotating sessions throughout the days. The skidpan is DRY and set up in our Meihan replica layout. Beginners drivers do not drive the Friday or on the Main Track.

WHAT GROUP DO I ENTER?

BEGINNER - Still learning the basics but ideally not your first time as you'll be using the dry skidpan (no main track options) with up to 6 cars on track at once. No cage required.

INTERMEDIATE - Should have reasonable control of their car while drifting, be able to stay within the track limits most of the time and not be regularly spinning. No cage required. No trains. We may contact you to confirm your driving experience if you haven’t progressed through one of our Drift School or Skidpan events.

EXPERIENCED - For drivers with more track experience who are comfortable with higher-speed entries and want to tandem more. Cages and harnesses required.

ADVANCED / L1 - For highly experienced drivers comfortable with high speeds, close tandems and L1 competition-level driving. Cages and harnesses required.

Group changes are not possible after entry due to maximum group capacities, so please choose carefully.

Passengers and tandems are allowed in all applicable groups, subject to the same driver, passenger and vehicle requirements. Please see the regulations for full details.

FAQs:

Arrival
All drivers must arrive either Friday between 3pm–6.30pm, or Saturday between 7am–8.30am. No later arrivals will be accepted.

Roll Cages / Harnesses
Beginner / Intermediate: No roll cage required and standard seat belts are accepted, however OEM side intrusion beams are mandatory (which should be there unless you’ve removed them!).
Experienced / Advanced: Roll cages and harnesses required.

Other Vehicle Requirements:
Please read our vehicle requirements page and see our example scrutineering sheet. Your car and personal safety gear must meet Regulations. 

Passenger Rules
Minimum passenger age is 14. A guardian is required for passengers under 18. Passenger passes will be available to purchase in person.

Pit Spots / Pitting with Friends
After entering, use the link in your confirmation email to book an available pit (check your junk mail!). 

Pit bookings are self-serve and first come, first served, so if you want to pit with friends, coordinate your entries and book pits near each other. Please do not message us requesting pit changes. 

Once numbered pits are full, drivers will be allocated to the unreserved pit parking near spectator parking. Skidpan Only entrants dont need to book & MUST pit near the Skidpan. Bitumen/carport pit bases are now full, auto waitlist based on anyone who missed out, no need to message us, we'll be in contact if a spot becomes available.

Licensing
A RACERS Clubman Licence is required. A single event permit is $50 and covers the whole weekend, or an annual licence is $125. Click Here to purchase. MA or AASA NOT accepted.

Car Sharing
Car sharing in the same group is allowed with an additional fee. Select the Guest Driver option during entry.

If drivers are entering different groups, each driver must complete their own entry form and pay the full entry fee.

Overnight Parking / Accommodation
Cars can remain at the track in their pits overnight Friday and Saturday. The venue will be locked overnight.

Camping is not permitted. Check out BIG4 The Bend Holiday Park or Rydges Pit Lane for nearby accommodation.

Tyre Changers
Scotts Tyres will be onsite and can also bring any tyres you need with them. Tyre orders must be prepaid.

Spectators / Pit Crew
All spectators, including pit crew, require a spectator ticket. Locktoberfest does not include a free pit crew or spectator pass with driver entry.

Locktoberfest spectator tickets will be released closer to the event via TryBooking.

Terms & Conditions & Refund Policy
By entering our events, you agree to our terms and conditions:

• No refunds are available unless the event is cancelled or postponed.

• Entries cannot be transferred to another participant.

• Our events often sell out. We use a fair and transparent waitlist process - if a registered participant cancels, the next person on the waitlist will be contacted and given the opportunity to take the spot

• Credit for a future event may be issued if you notify us by email at least 1 day before the event (so Thursday 19th November). 
• All cancellations must be submitted via email to events@driftingsa.com.au. Messages via text, social media or other methods will not be accepted.

Got a Credit to Use?
Add the new event entry to your account and continue until the invoice is generated.
Instead of clicking “Pay Online”, click the floating button on the right that says “Balance: Credit or Overpayment”.
This will apply your available credit to the invoice.

Detailed Driver Information will be emailed to entrants approximately 7–10 days before the event.

Come celebrate the end of another huge year of drifting with us!

We're heading back to the Seven Stars Hotel on Saturday 5 December, taking over their Courtyard for a night of good food, great company and a few celebrations!

We'll be presenting our 2026 State Series Championship trophies and awards, recognising the drivers who've given it their all this year. We've also got some exciting prizes lined up for our championship placegetters, but we're keeping those under wraps until the big night!

Championship presentations will kick off at approximately 8.30pm.

And why are we heading back to the Seven Stars? Because we know they throw a great party and, just as importantly, know how to feed a crowd! Food is included in your ticket, with plenty of finger food being served from 7pm-8.30pm including pizzas, spring rolls, chicken strips, sausage rolls, bruschetta, lamb crostini and sliders.

• Drifting SA Members: $10 subsidised price (early-release price)

• Non-members & guests: $30 (early-release price)

• Dress code: Smart casual (though the girls like to go fancy for this one- its an excuse to get out of drift clothes!).
