For those who want to try out Drifting but don't have the car to do so, Drifting SA can supply you with your own Drift car and a personal teacher!
AUTOMATIC V35 - IDEAL FOR TOTAL NEWBIES:
What you get: 30 mins in a Nissan V35 Skyline (automatic transmission) setup for drifting on a wet skidpan on both the beginner and intermediate course practicing donuts and/or figure 8s! All costs are included except for licensing which can be sorted on the day for $50 (or see link below to purchase in advance). A helmet is provided however please wear long sleeve cotton shirt/jumper and long pants that cover your ankles, as well as enclosed footwear.
MANUAL 1JZ BMW - IDEAL FOR BEGINNERS/THOSE WITH MANUAL DRIVING EXPERIENCE: What you get: 45 mins in a 1JZ BMW (manual transmission) setup for drifting on a wet skidpan on both the beginner and intermediate course practicing donuts and/or figure 8s! If you're confident, you can also try the advanced (dry) corner! All costs are included except for licensing which can be sorted on the day for $50 (or see link below to purchase in advance). A helmet is provided however please wear long sleeve cotton shirt/jumper and long pants that cover your ankles, as well as enclosed footwear. How old do I need to be? - You must be at least 14 years old, however anyone younger than 18 must contact us for approval before entering and have a parent/guardian with them.
What kind of licence do I need to participate? - Racers Clubman Licence (single event permit is $50). Click Here to purchase either a Single Event or Annual License online
All entries made before 7 days out from the Event are entitled to a full transfer of their entry fee to another Drifting SA event if they notify before the event on the day. Entries after are non-transferable/non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or postponed by Drifting SA.
