WHAT IS WINTERFEST?

BACK FOR 1.5 DAYS THIS YEAR!! A jam packed freestyle event where you will get to enjoy multiple layouts on the Stadium Circuit across Saturday (10am to 8pm) and Sunday (10am to 2.30pm), with Skidpan is also open 10am - 5pm on Saturday. All levels of drivers catered for - see below for different groupings.

You can choose to drive:

Saturday Only (10am to 8pm on the main track, 10am to 5pm on the Skidpan)
Sunday Only (10am to 2.30pm on the main track)
Skidpan Only (10am to 5pm Saturday) - Meihan replica layout like our Skidpan Days (WAITLIST ONLY!)
Or opt in for it all!

GROUPS DEFINED:

BEGINNER 
Beginners are new to drifting and/or may still be learning the basics such as entries and linking corners. BEGINNERS MUST DO SKIDPAN ONLY, which is only available on Saturday.  No cage is required and passengers are allowed. 

INTERMEDIATE 
You must be able to confidently stay on track and link corners. This class is recommended for those looking to mostly do solo driving, but tandems are allowed for those wanting to learn. No cage is required and passengers are allowed. No trains.

EXPERIENCED - THIS GROUP IS FULL!
This class is recommended for those who have a bit more experience and want to tandem more. however there is a shorter run up,  No cage is required and passengers are allowed. No trains.

ADVANCED
Cages are required for this group as the run ups will be open and not restricted like the other groups. Tandem trains and passengers are allowed.

FAQs:

Does my car need a rollcage to drive or to have a passenger?
– No. There is no requirement for a roll cage in Beginnner, Intermediate or Experienced Class, however, if you don’t run a cage, you must have OEM side intrusion beams fitted as a minimum.
– Advanced Class drivers MUST have roll cages.

What kind of licence do I need to enter?
- Racers Clubman Licence (single event permit is $30). Click Here to purchase either a Single Event or Annual License online

– Your car and personal safety gear must meet Regulations. Further information regarding the event will be sent the week leading up to the event.

- Passenger passes can be purchased on the day for $40 Saturday / $35 Sunday / $60 weekend.

REFUND POLICY:

All entries made before 7 days out from the Event are entitled to a full transfer of their entry fee to another Drifting SA event if they notify before the event on the day. Entries after are non-transferable/non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or postponed by Drifting SA.
