Pro Rides & Passenger Passes
Want to go passenger in a drift car at one of our events?! Then take a look at some of the options below.
The minimum age for passengers at all Drifting SA events is 14. Passengers under the age of 18 will need a guardian present to sign a waiver.
Pro Rides
Go for a ride with one of our 'Pro' drivers. We provide a helmet & put you in the passenger seat with an experienced driver from the team. You will do a set number of laps (normally 2-3) in the passenger seat of the car, while the driver is flat out sideways. Pro rides is normally ran as a part of our larger events like Matsuris or Drift Competitions & can be bought on the same web page that you would normally buy a spectator pass. See driftingsa.com.au/tickets - please note event tickets are released approximately 3-4 weeks prior an event, with prices starting at $99 depending on how many laps you go for.

Passenger Passes
Got a friend or family member driving at one of our events & want to go for some laps with them? Then you can purchase a passenger arm band & do just that. Of course the car will need all the safety equipment to take passengers & you will need to provide your own helmet. Most helmets are acceptable (Australian/NZ/European/Snell standards), including open face, except skull caps.
All passengers must wear long sleeve clothing (tops/pants) and enclosed shoes.
We offer passenger passes at all our events (& they can be bought in person once you're at the track. Prices vary depending on the event duration (starting at approximately $25 for a 4 hour event, $35 for a full day event, $45 for a longer event). Head to the Administration Building / Shed to purchase and complete an insurance waiver.
The Drifting SA Board is group of passionate volunteers who meet on a regular basis to advance drifting in South Australia. The Board's role is to conduct activities that support the positive recognition of drift, including public displays, relationship management and safety regulations.
Each year, an Annual General Meeting is held, which all members of Drifting SA are invited to, and new Board members can nominate and be voted in at this time.
Event Volunteers:
Drifting SA events are coordinated and managed by 'Drift Dates' team Stewy Bryant and Renae Sullivan, and then delivered by an experienced volunteer team that put in an absolutely amazing effort on the day.
On the day duties include startline, flags, recovery, pit runners, pit release, pit exit and more. All that is required is some reasonable knowledge of track safety and a genuine commitment to the roles.
If you would like to get more involved, start by following our Facebook page (link below), attending our events and then put your hand up if you think it's something you'd like to be a part of!
