By entering or participating in a Drifting SA event, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any event-specific requirements published for that event.
If you are entering an event on behalf of another person, the entry must contain the details of the person who will actually be participating. Please email events@driftingsa.com.au if you need to advise us of an entry made on someone else's behalf.
Entry closing dates and times are listed on each event page.
Entries may close earlier if an event or individual group reaches capacity. Once entries have closed, late entries will not be accepted, even if places remain available.
An entry is only confirmed once the registration process and required payment have been completed.
Please do not contact individual Drifting SA volunteers or committee members requesting a late entry. All event enquiries must be directed to events@driftingsa.com.au.
Driver-initiated cancellations are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
If you are unable to attend, Drifting SA may provide a full event credit where written notice is received by email before the day of the event. The time the email is received will determine eligibility. Cancellation requests must be emailed to events@driftingsa.com.au.
Messages sent through Facebook, Instagram, text message, Messenger or directly to individual volunteers are not accepted as formal notice of cancellation.
If notice is received on or after the day of the event, or the participant simply does not attend, no credit will be provided.
Event credits may be used towards a future Drifting SA event, subject to availability and any applicable entry requirements.
Entries and event credits cannot be transferred to another participant. Where an event is sold out, cancelled places will be offered in accordance with our waitlist process.
Season Pass Members must attend each competition round in accordance with the conditions of their Season Pass Membership.
If a Season Pass Member enters a competition round and does not attend, they are not eligible for an event credit or transfer where doing so would affect or forfeit their Season Pass Membership.
Motorsport events can be affected by weather, track conditions, incidents, safety requirements and other circumstances outside Drifting SA's control.
Drifting SA may make reasonable changes to an event schedule, format, track layout, groups or activities where required for operational or safety reasons.
If an event is cancelled, postponed or materially changed, affected participants will be contacted regarding the options available to them. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
All participants must read and comply with the current Vehicle Requirements.
It is the participant's responsibility to ensure their vehicle complies with these requirements and remains safe and compliant throughout the event.
Vehicles that do not meet the requirements, or that are considered unsafe during the event, may be excluded from participation until the issue has been rectified.
Passing scrutineering does not remove the participant's responsibility to maintain their vehicle in a safe condition throughout the event.
All drivers must hold a valid licence accepted for the relevant Drifting SA event, including a RACERS licence where required.
The minimum driver age is 14 years.
Drivers under 18 must contact Drifting SA for approval before entering and must meet any parent or guardian consent and supervision requirements applicable to the event.
Participants must also meet any experience or eligibility requirements specified for their entry group or event.
Participants must wear all required safety equipment, including an approved helmet, long sleeves, long pants and any additional equipment specified for the relevant event, vehicle or activity.
All participants must complete the required event sign-on process and agree to any applicable RACERS, venue or Drifting SA waivers before participating.
A participant who has not completed the required sign-on and waiver process will not be permitted on track.
Participants must behave safely and respectfully towards other drivers, passengers, officials, volunteers, spectators and venue staff.
Participants must comply with instructions from Drifting SA officials, marshals, venue staff and other authorised event personnel.
Unsafe driving, dangerous behaviour, abuse of officials or volunteers, deliberate failure to follow instructions, or other conduct that places people or property at unreasonable risk may result in the participant being removed from an activity or from the event.
Drifting SA may suspend track activity or exclude a participant or vehicle where necessary to manage safety.
Drivers and other participants must not consume alcohol or be under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs while participating in event activities.
Any participant considered to be impaired will not be permitted to participate and may be removed from the event.
Photography and video recording take place at Drifting SA events.
By participating, you acknowledge that you may appear in photographs or video captured at the event and that Drifting SA may use event photography or footage for reporting, promotional and social media purposes.
Drifting SA may also publish participant information relevant to the event, including driver names, vehicle details, entry lists, results and promotional driver graphics.
Drifting SA reserves the right to refuse, suspend or withdraw a participant's involvement where they do not meet event eligibility, vehicle, safety or conduct requirements, or where participation would create an unacceptable safety or operational risk.
Decisions made by event officials in relation to immediate event safety must be followed.
