Learn to Drift - Rental Car

For those who want to try out Drifting but don’t have the car to do so, Drifting SA can supply you with your own Drift car and a personal teacher. Only available during limited sessions at our Drift Schools!

We have two drift cars for rent that can be hired for 30 - 45 minute sessions - these take place on a large Skidpan (at either The Bend Motorsport Park or Mallala Motorsport Park) in a safe and controlled environment.

Prices start from $299.

What's included:

- 30 minutes in a Nissan V35 Skyline (automatic transmission) or 45 minutes in a BMW 1JZ (manual transmission) setup for drifting on a wet skidpan.
- For Beginners (Nissan): Learn Donuts or Figure 8s
- For Intermediate (BMW): Learn Figure 8s or Drift Entries
- Helmet included

What do I need to participate?

- Long sleeve cotton shirt/jumper and long pants that cover your ankles, as well as enclosed footwear.
- You must be at least 14 years old, however anyone younger than 18 must contact us for approval before entering and have a parent/guardian with them.
- Racers Clubman Licence (single event licenceis $30). Click Here to purchase either a Single Event or Annual License online

This is a great option for those who want to try out drifting!

FAQ: Can I hire the car for the whole day?

We do not offer whole-day rental car options as drifting places a lot of stress on a car and these cars are offered as a "taste of drift" experience, leading to someone buying their own car if they enjoy the experience!
