WHAT IS WINTERFEST?
BACK FOR 2 DAYS THIS YEAR!! A jam-packed freestyle event where you will get to enjoy multiple layouts on the Stadium Circuit across Saturday (10am to 8pm) and/or Sunday (9am to 5pm), with Skidpan also open Saturday (10am to 5pm) in our Meihan replica layout.
All levels of drivers catered for - see below for different groupings.
Purchase a Driver Entry for what you want to drive for:
- Saturday Only (10am to 8pm on the Main Track 'Forward' Layouts, plus bonus Skidpan sessions from 10am to 5pm!)
- Sunday Only (9am to 5pm on the Main Track 'Reverse' Layouts!)
- Saturday & Sunday gets all of the above!
We will have a 'Skidpan Only' category (10am to 5pm Saturday) exclusively for Beginners to practice their skills with only 6 cars on the skidpan at once. More experienced drivers also driving main track will get their own sessions (8 cars on track at once).

WHAT GROUP DO I ENTER?
BEGINNER - Still learning basics - must enter Saturday Skidpan Only! No cage required. (Full - join waitlist)
INTERMEDIATE (full - join waitlist) - You must be able to confidently stay on track and link corners. This class is recommended for those looking to mostly do solo driving, but tandems are allowed for those wanting to learn. No cage is required. No trains. We may contact you to confirm your driving experience if you haven't progressed from one of our Drift School / Skidpan events.
EXPERIENCED (may be full - join waitlist)- This class is recommended for those who have a bit more experience and want to tandem more. The run ups will be higher speeds. Cages and harnesses are required.
ADVANCED (may be full - join waitlist)- Cages and harnesses are required.
Passengers and tandems are allowed in all groups (with same driver/passenger requirement - see regulations below for exact details).

FAQs:
Does my car need a rollcage to drive or to have a passenger?
– No. There is no requirement for a roll cage in Beginnner or Intermediate class, however, if you don’t run a cage, you must have OEM side intrusion beams fitted as a minimum (which should be there unless you've removed them!).
– Experienced and Advanced Class drivers MUST have roll cages.
What about other vehicle requirements?
- Please read our vehicle requirements page and see our example scrutineering sheet. Your car and personal safety gear must meet Regulations.
What kind of licence do I need to enter?
- Racers Clubman Licence (single event permit is $50 which lasts whole weekend, or annual is $95). Click Here to purchase either a Single Event or Annual License online
Can I pit with my friends?- You can book an available pit parking location after you've entered - see your confirmation email! Its a first come, first served basis but you can book into pits near each other!
- Spectator tickets can be purchased at driftingsa.com.au/tickets
- Passenger passes can be purchased on the day for $40 for Saturday, $35 for Sunday or $60 weekend. Min. age for passengers is 14. Must wear long sleeve tops/pants/enclosed shoes and helmet.
- Further information regarding the event will be sent the week leading up to the event.
REFUND POLICY:
All entries made before 7 days out from the Event are entitled to a full transfer of their entry fee to another Drifting SA event if they notify before the event on the day. Entries after are non-transferable/non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or postponed by Drifting SA.
