SESSIONS - SCHOOL (9am - 1pm) & SKIDPAN (1pm - 5pm)
DRIFT SCHOOL (9AM to 1PM)
Our "bring your own car" Drift School is run on the skidpan from 9am to 1pm, split into 3 different courses, ranging from donuts (wet) and figure of 8's (wet) for beginners to a more advanced course (dry) where drivers can practice entries and tandems. Instructors are on hand to jump in the car with you or provide advice from outside the vehicle.
We have a half hour break from 11.30am before opening up the skidpan to the 'Meihan' layout from 12 Noon to 1pm with maximum 6 cars on track at once - a great way to practice your new techniques and just get used to being on track with others!
This session requires students to bring their own car to use and learn in. If you do not have your own car, you can try one of the 'Learn to Drift' Rental Car sessions (see separate event registration page - limited spots available).
What you get: Tuition from 9am to 11.30am on the various courses on the Skidpan then 1 hour of Open Full Track running (Meihan layout) with Tuition (if requested) from 12.00pm to 1.00pm.
Maximum 24 drivers.
SKIDPAN (INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED ONLY - 1PM - 5PM)
For Intermediate and Advanced drivers only, Skidpan Only entrants get to enjoy the "Meihan Replica" Layout from 1-5pm. There are no groups, simply 3-5 minute sessions with 8 cars allowed on track at a time. Beginner drivers must enter Drift School instead.
What you get: 4 hours of shared track time on the Skidpan from 1.00-5.00pm
Maximum 28 drivers.
GROUPS:
BEGINNER
Beginners are new to drifting and/or may still be learning the basics such as entries and linking corners. BEGINNERS MUST DO SCHOOL ONLY.
INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
Intermediate drivers may have progressed from School or other track time such as Malalla and XPark. You must be able to link corners. Tandems are allowed, no cage is required, passengers are allowed with or without a cage. This is a mixed group with 8 cars on track at once, hence we cannot have beginners who are spinning.
